Making a change using Win+P evidently causes a refresh of the video system. There the workaround is to use the Project dialog (Win+P) to make aĬhange. This sounds related to the symptom that others are seeing with "No HDMI Signal" (or similar-it's a symptom from the monitor when it is turned on). However, if both are plugged in at the same time the monitor plugged into the Lightning port is no longer recognised by the computer it does not even show up as a device in the device manager window, Intel control panel or display preferences pane. Looking up the issue I have not found any solutions that work, I have restarted the computer several times, with monitors plugged in and not plugged in, even reset the SMC.
Have been recently reinstalled and up to date.

All drivers are apparently up to date, both operating systems Running my MBP in Mac OSX, with one monitor plugged into a Lightning port, and another plugged into the HDMI port, both monitors work perfectly (simultaneously), so it is not a hardware issue. Any monitor plugged into the second port (as the only monitor) is not recognised. When I have two monitors plugged into my laptop running Windows 10 on Bootcamp, only one monitor will be recognised at a time.
